Description

I instruct a Traditional Kundalini Yoga Class for you. We do the class together. I teach you skill, proper form, and technique, and support your experience and transitions.  The class can be taught by Traditional sequences from Yogi Bhajan, and there are also other sequences that we can explore that are for specific intentions and areas of the body for what you personally want to work on. A discovery call at first is necessary.

My 300 hour Yoga teacher training was a part of Kundalini Yoga.

Also my 50 Hour Buti Yoga teaching training also was taught Kundalini Yoga.

I also have done the Kundalini Sadhana for 90 days recommended to change your life and energy, and it did change my life!

Kundalini Yoga, the “Yoga of Awareness,” is a spiritual practice focused on awakening dormant energy (Kundalini) at the spine’s base, symbolized as a coiled serpent, and guiding it up through the body’s energy centers (chakras) for heightened consciousness and spiritual union, using a unique blend of breath (Pranayama), chanting (mantras), specific poses (Asanas), hand gestures (Mudras), and meditationIt differs from other yogas through its structured sequences called Kriyas, repetitive movements, and emphasis on internal experience, leading to mental, physical, and spiritual transformation.  

 

What to Expect in a Class
  • Opening Chant: Tuning into the practice with a specific chant.
  • Warm-ups: Gentle movements and pranayama for the spine.
  • Kriya: The main sequence of dynamic, repetitive movements with breath and sound.
  • Deep Relaxation: A crucial period for absorbing the practice’s effects.
  • Meditation: A focused session to cultivate awareness.
  • Closing Chant: A final chant to seal the practice.
